Yacht Dream Weaver
The voyages of Dream Weaver and her history, as known. The voyages for 2000 to 2014 are detailed.
Dream Weaver is a 1973 Westerly Renown ketch and was owned by Liz Evans and Douglas (Dee) Locke who was the skipper.
This 1973 Westerly Renown, ketch-rigged yacht has a cast iron fin keel and centre cockpit with wheel steering and has six/seven berths in three cabins all centrally heated which makes her an ideal family cruising yacht for the West Coast of Scotland and beyond.
Dream Weaver has a very comprehensive inventory with many dates shown. She is in exceptional condition and has been maintained to a very high standard and has been described as ‘far above average’ in her last survey and has been fully equipped for ocean sailing.

Dream Weaver was accepted to join the Commonwealth Flotilla going up the Clyde from Greenock to the centre of Glasgow between 25th & 27th July 2014 to celebrate the Commonwealth Games (23rd July to 3rd August 2014). There were 250 yachts in the Commonwealth Flotilla and Dream Weaver was in a group of ten Westerly yachts dressed overall.

Please note that some links may not work, this is because the new owner decided not to continue to pay for the hosting of the www.yacht-dream-weaver.co.uk website after he purchased Dream Weaver so consequently the full website details were lost. Douglas decided to save as much of the original website as he could by creating this new website and having to use https://web.archive.org/web/20140803085119/http://www.yacht-dream-weaver.co.uk/summary-of-dream-weavers-history-voyages.html to retrieve as much ‘Wayback’ information as was possible.
